On April 25th, a family gathering was held with members of Isfahan Birth Cohort in the conference room of Shahid Beheshti hospital. In this meeting, the primary investigator of PERSIAN birth cohort lectured about the importance of sufficient and healthy nutrition during infancy and childhood and answered questions of participants about normal growth. Then, a lecture about some of the common worries between mothers regarding their child health were presented and beneficial home interventions for common childhood diseases such as gastroenteritis were explained. At the end, importance of different aspects of development were clarified for parents and some of the games that were considered to be helpful in better development of the child were introduced. In this meeting, executive members of Isfahan birth cohort and participating families in the study were acknowledged for their great cooperation as well.
