An educational meeting was held for birth cohort family in Shaheed Beheshti hospital, the main place of implementation of Isfahan Birth Cohort (IBC) study, with the lecture of Prof. Roya. Kelishadi, Professor and Head of Persian Birth Cohort study.

All pregnant and lactating mothers who participated in the IBC study were trained about the importance of nutrition and health care during pregnancy, breastfeeding and baby care. Related questions on breastfeeding issues of newborns were answered at the end of session.
